Los Angeles Film Critics Association Awards And Annie Awards Nominations Announced
By Chris Evangelista/Dec. 5, 2017 7:30 am EST
Every year, the wonderful world of film becomes tantamount to a team sport as critic orgs and more pick and choose winners for the best of the year. As always, it’s important to remember that award winning is subjective – just because a film you may cherish is overlooked come awards season, it doesn’t mean the film is a dud. You’re allowed to herald whatever movie you may see fit, folks. Instead, award season is an excuse to celebrate a specific group of films. The important thing is to have fun. In other words, don’t take this stuff too seriously.
